Russia and Ukraine signed agreements today clearing the way for exporting millions of tons of desperately needed Ukrainian grain – as well as Russian grain and fertilizer – ending a wartime standoff that had threatened food security around the globe.

Private-Sector Employment in June Exceeds Pre-Pandemic Level
Jobs in N.J. increased by 9,800 jobs in June, and by 96,000 jobs through the first six months of 2022.
Private-sector employment now exceeds the pre-pandemic level recorded in February 2020 by 8,600 jobs, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. The state unemployment rate remained at 3.9% in June. (N.J. Labor Department)
N.J. Lottery Sales Broke Records the Past Two Years
Lottery officials believe the increase can be partly attributed to the fact that – until recently – there were few other entertainment options. During the beginning of the pandemic, a trip to the lottery counter was a brief moment of fun for some. When the New Jersey Lottery Commission on Thursday released its unaudited results for Fiscal Year 2022,
sales totaled $3.6 billion, the second-highest figure in lottery history. The only fiscal year that did better was 2021. (ROI-NJ)
