SBA’s Office of Government Contracting and Business Development is doing BIG things for small businesses, helping more entrepreneurs harness the buying power of the U.S. government—the largest purchaser of goods and services in the world. Here are a few recent highlights:

✅ Published federal contracting data disaggregated by race, ethnicity, and geography, helping guarantee greater transparency and accountability in federal contracting and putting more small businesses in a position to start doing business with the government:
✅ Revised 229 size standards across 16 sectors, making 59,000 additional types of businesses eligible for millions of dollars in revenue and business expansion opportunities through federal contracting and loan programs:
✅ Boosted the number of eligible industries for the Women-Owned Small Business Federal Contracting Program from 444 to 759, a 70% increase. The new rule will help #WomenInBusiness seize potentially millions of dollars more in procurement opportunities:
