Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon and Commissioner Director Tom Arnone go on location to some of the most interesting and iconic historic locations in Monmouth County!


The first episode features Laird & Company, America’s oldest distillers located in the heart of Colts Neck, that is known for its Apple Jack brandy - which even President George Washington was known to enjoy. Watch now!

The “Hole” Lotta Fun 250: Classic Mini Golf Tournament is a unique and exciting community event hosted by the Borough of West Long Branch that will bring together families, local businesses and community leaders for a morning of friendly competition and connection—all while celebrating the USA’s 250th anniversary!

Whether you’re a mini-golf pro or just in it for the laughs, this tournament promises fun for all ages. Registration is now open for individuals and groups of four. Spots are limited, so register today!

High School Photography Contest!

Archives Day photo contest

Monmouth County high school students are challenged to submit an original color or black-and-white photograph capturing one of the many locations throughout Monmouth County significant to the time period of the American Revolution. 

The top three winners will be awarded gift card prizes by Clerk Hanlon and be recognized at Archives & History Day on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at the Robert J. Collins Arena at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft.

Contest entries will be accepted through Friday, October 3, 2025, via email to ClerkContest@co.monmouth.nj.us with the subject “2025 High School Photography Contest” and the image attached.

Calling All Monmouth County Artists!

Monmouth County officials have announced an art competition to highlight Monmouth County’s role in the American Revolution and to showcase the talent and creativity of Monmouth County residents.

Submissions should portray an historic event in Revolutionary Monmouth County history, between the years of 1775 and 1783.

The first-place prize for each category is $2,026. Second-and third-place prizes will also be awarded in each category. Registration is required.

There are two categories: Professional and Non-Professional.
