As it has for the past two decades, the Ms Race is a charity race for the benefit of 180 Turning
Lives Around, a non-profit organization dedicated to ending domestic violence and sexual
assault in the community.
All women sailors and crews are invited to participate in the event, which is held in the Yacht
Club Olympic Circle as well as other marks on Sandy Hook Bay.
The Race is open for sailing yachts with a valid 2024 PHRF-MA rating certificate and yachts that
race one design with skipper and crew all female sailors.
There are two PHRF divisions in the Ms Race, spinnaker and non-spinnaker and at least three
boats must be registered in a division in order for that division to qualify for the competition.

The Aug. 187 Race Day begins at 10:30.am. with a captain’s meeting and sailing seminar at the Yacht Club. The Yacht Club will be open at 10a.m. and
breakfast snacks will be served.
The race gets off at 2 p.m. for the first boat and continues for the afternoon. The Awards ceremony and trophy presentation will take place at the Yacht Club between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. that evening.
A captain’s meeting and sailing seminar at the Yacht Club, located in Atlantic Highlands Yacht Harbor on the second floor of the Shore Casino, overlooking the Bay and race course.
Registration is available by visiting the Regatta Network at regattanetwork.com,. Yachts will be officially entered on completion of the entry and waiver liability form.
Fee for entry is $50 to the Yacht Club Race Committee, paid via the Regatta Network PLU, with a $50 suggested minimum donation to 180 Turning Lives Around. The donation to 180 Turning Lives Around can be made online at
