Director of Events and Marketing

Event Marketing & Sales Director
- Handle al aspects of advertising and booking events in each event space.
- Create, edit, enter and update contracts for events.
- Follow up on every event from the first contact to the final bill collection and execution of the event.
- Close cooperation with Food and Beverage Director to handle timing, food preparation and execution of event.
- Qualify and distribute all leads to team members.
- Negotiate and manage the sale of group events of various sizes and complexities via lead follow up, trade show attendance if/when appropriate, proposals, site inspections and contracts.
- Generate new business and build new client relationships, develop, and present proposals to clients, with both general customers as well as corporate and non-profit organizations.
- Maintain existing client base through personal meetings, telephone, and email
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals.
- Develop and manage follow up procedures to ensure consistent service to all assigned prospects.
- Coordinate food and beverage packages with client and Food and Beverage Director.
- Create marketing email blasts, advertisements and promotions focused on products and services offered within event packages.
- Strategize new ways to market, advertise and promote to obtain new clients and businesses for future events.
- Keep strong notes and logs of previous discussions with event contacts for use by entire sales and marketing team.
Requisite management experience be 3 years minimum in a related field of Event management.
Must be able to utilize software such as Aloha, Triple seat, Salesforce, or comparable event management software.
