Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Monmouth Chapter

About Us

The Association of the US Army (AUSA) Monmouth Chapter is a 501(c)3 not for profit organization that supports soldiers, veterans of all services, and family members in the Monmouth County region. We are a 100% volunteer organization. All funds raised during the year go directly to support our programs and initiatives. Examples of what we do: We have a service dog program whereby we purchase puppies, have them trained as service dogs, pair them with local special needs veterans, train the veteran and puppy together, and then hand off the puppy to the veteran for life. We partner with the Fisher House Foundation, which builds and operates comfort homes similar to Ronald McDonald houses, but builds them adjacent to major military hospitals. This enables the families of service members to stay free of charge close by their loved ones while they recuperate. We provide annual scholarships to graduating Junior ROTC high school seniors in the local area. We honor and recognize veteran groups with various events, e.g., our annual Veterans Day Luncheon. And we do much more! Anyone who is interested in helping soldiers, veterans, and family members is welcome to become a member of our chapter.
