Step into New Jersey's growing film industry with the NJ Film Works Grant Program, opening May 12, 2025. NJEDA invites applications for grants from $250,000 to $750,000 to fund workforce development and skills training initiatives. Eligible entities, including nonprofits and educational institutions, can apply by July 11, 2025.
Eligible companies with at least 20 full-time employees can now apply for the NJEDA's ESOP Assistance Program, which supports transitions to employee stock ownership plans. The program offers feasibility studies and technical assistance to enhance employee financial security and business continuity. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Take advantage of New Jersey's Clean Energy Program to design energy-efficient new construction projects. Eligible projects can earn incentives based on building square footage. New builds and gut rehabs across residential and non-residential categories are eligible.
Licensees affected by the imposition of aluminum tariffs may request amendments to their price lists to account for the increased costs. Licensees must demonstrate that the tariffs create an undue economic hardship, that their pricing amendments will not disproportionately burden other affected parties, and that the adjustments remain compliant with existing regulations.

The NJ Department of Environmental Protection set a new ground water quality limit for PFPE-DCAs, a type of PFAS, at 0.0021 micrograms per liter, effective May 19, 2025. This affects chemical makers, industrial sites, waste treatment facilities, and any business impacting ground water. Affected businesses should review the standards on the NJDEP website and plan for testing and adjustments to meet the new rules.
Business.NJ.gov is five years old! More than three million visitors now come to Business.NJ.gov annually to learn about doing business in New Jersey. The site has directly helped start more than 50,000 businesses while reducing launch times by 30 percent.
